Georgia State University Nursing Fall 2017

Nursing Students School Programs

Hi, has anyone submitted their application for fall 2017 semester yet?

I viewed the thread for Spring 2017, but didn't see anything for Fall semester.

I've submitted mine last week, and I'm scared already (yes, before they even start looking at the applications...). I applied to only the ACE track, but I'm afraid my grade is not good enough.....

GPA: 3.73

Science GPA: IDK

TEAS: 86

I volunteer at Northside Hospital and got my supervisor to write my letter of recommendation, does this earn me extra points on the application?

I'm a really bad writer, the part of the application I'm scared the most is my essay.... I wrote about the Affordable Care Act, I picked it on purpose cause it's a big thing, but now I'm scared...

Any acceptences or denials? ? We are close to the 28th and I haven't got anything! !!

Same here

I haven't heard anything either

I'm preparing like I didn't get in and am getting things in place to apply for spring. Hopefully things will go smoother next semester

I got accepted into trad track. I have a mixed feeling now, I wanted Ace track...good luck to you guys.

Congratulations Fio917. When did you receive the email?

Just got it

Tbh, the check application status page is not accurate, they haven't updated anything on there, and my residency stats still says non resident while I was approved for in state a few weeks ago. Ms.Littles email is what should look for.

Congrats you guys! I got into ACE, surprisingly!

Do you know how to take the PINS review? and where to find it? Will it be in icollege? Did you get approved to take it yet?

Hello, I just joined allnurses and I'm currently looking to apply for Fall 2018 to the ACE program. Would anyone here who's prepared, applied, and/or been accepted be willing to chat about the process? I'm not a student at GSU and so I haven't been able to get too much help from the admissions office.

Try to collect as many volunteer hours as possible, the more the better because every100 hours = 1 point. So even if you have a low GPA or teas score, your hours can still balance everything out. Focus on writing a great essay along with short answers. For recommendations, use you A/P or microbio professor or someone in the medical field who knows you well. Everything gives you points so pay really good attention to all those tiny requirements set by GSU nursing school.

Congrats Mariyag24. Do you mind to share your stats?

Any updates ?
