Georgia State University (GSU) Spring 2018

Hi everyone!

The deadline for the ACE application for Spring 2018 at Georgia State University was yesterday and so now the wait begins! Who else applied?

My stats are:

Undergrad GPA: 3.7

Pre-requisite and Science GPA: 4.0

TEAS score: 91.3

Good luck to everyone and hopefully we'll all be meeting in January!

I checked my application status this morning and got this....

LOL!! From what I've gathered from previous semesters threads is that the application status doesn't mean much. I read that even after an acceptance letter was received, the status still read, "complete- ready for review." I still check mine just to make sure it doesn't say "deny." This wait is really testing my patience...

I️ was waitlisted for fall 2017 and received a letter by mail. What I️ know about that semester is that you get an email for acceptance and a paper letter for waitlist or denial. Perhaps they changed it this go around.

I had to call in because they didn't sent out anything for me. It was denial letter that I received almost 2 months after the initial decisions went out.

My patience has turned to anxiety, then anger. I feel like I'm going through the stages of grief lol. Still haven't heard anything.

I can't take it anymore. I'm trying to resign myself to the idea that we won't find out until next week. And just go to my zen place.

Has everyone already completed the GA and US History & Constitution exams or classes? That's the last thing on my list for GSU. I'm waiting to hear if I get in before signing up for the exams.

Same here. I've got to take the GA Constitution exam because I'm not a GA native. But like you said, I'd like to know if I'm in or not before I take it. This waiting is so rough!

I just got a email inviting me to a student government event in regards to the Byrdine nursing school at gsu . I don't know if by receiving this email means I got in , but I sure hope so lol because why would they send it to me if I didn't get in right ? Ugh idk at this point lol it's worth a guess

I got the same thing! I got so excited when I read Byrdine school of nursing but then I saw it was just an SGA thing. Maybe it means something though.

Yeah, I received it too. I'd like to get my hopes up, but I don't know. It seemed like a generic email.
