  1. Log into Facebook | Facebook Hey all, I had trouble finding the other page created for the Nursing program - I created a closed group page - the link is above where we will get notifications and can post and help each other out! Please request to add, any ideas are welcome for the page. Looking forward to meeting everyone next week! Title reads GSU ACE Nursing jan 2018 - may 2019
  2. My acemapp didn't show up in my "focused mail" but it was there in another folder. In case that helps anyone. I turned all my papers including page 4 into the office at the school. And will be uploading my health records, etc tonight to acemapp. With the student health center I just walked in for immunizations, the skin test they will do and need you to come back a day or two later to read it. They didn't require an appointment for immunizations .. just Incase anyone wants to walk in! There is parking right across the street, and it's near the student commons building. I mistakenly walked all the way to the address on google near the sports arena and boy was I wrong! Hope this helps!
  3. In the letter I got in the mail it says that I need to return page 4 of the professional behaviors policy (which was part of the letter) and all agreements to be submitted by dec 4 Then it says health requirements, cpr and related paperwork to be uploaded to acemapp are due to be uploaded by dec 11, which we will have a link to acemapp provided to us by dec 4. Lots of stuff, I'm sure you are fine. Especially with how late we received notification and you haven't gotten your letter in the mail. What I got in the mail also has the same form we got in the email so Im sure we are all fine. What a process! Just glad we are in!
  4. Thank you student 0707 all the forms are in the Pins content tab, at the bottom it says ace packet or something like that and you print and turn them in. (or scan and send I am guessing) I am going to call in the morning... I have to talk to them as well because I have a block and cant register.
  5. Question ... does everyone here have all 3 series of the Hep B shots? I am worried because that is the only one I don't have complete, I will of course start it this week but I am wondering if this will be a problem because it says it needs 4-6 month between the last 2 shots.
  6. In the acceptance letter it says you will receive an invitation by 12/4. I have not gained access either. I bet once they are in the office tomorrow and process all the things due by tomorrow they will send a link out.
  7. Is anyone else having trouble listening to the links on the pins... it tells me that the url is invalid and I've tried on my computer and laptop.
  8. I got Mine tooo for ACEEEEEEEEE !!! YAYYY
  9. That is wonderful for your friend. I stopped into the advisement office today and waited about an hour, I decided to make an appointment next week, but as I was waiting a woman came out to consolidate the list to be seen and I mentioned to her to put a line through my name. She asked what department and I responded nursing. She sort of widened her eyes and said a lot of people are here for that area. Long story short she told me that acceptances had been emailed and some mailed and that they would send out some today and tomorrow. I asked about the two weeks after the break responses and she said there were over 500 applicants and 72 spots and they have a lot to review. she offered that If I felt I had the grades I could apply to the associate nursing program, which worried me a little because I came down town to achieve a BSN. All we can do it wait it out and hope for the best, this was also the only school l applied to for the 2018 spring and I am still hoping we are going to get that magical email! I figured I would share what I heard today. lets all stay strong!
  10. I am trying to be as positive as possible. I was wait listed for this last term (fall 2017) and I really would love some great news.. so just hoping for the best. It is very stressful waiting, I am glad we can all lean on each other to make calls and share what our feedback has been. I thought I had been rejected and received the wait list letter in the mail a week or two after people got their acceptance emails.
  11. I️ was waitlisted for fall 2017 and received a letter by mail. What I️ know about that semester is that you get an email for acceptance and a paper letter for waitlist or denial. Perhaps they changed it this go around.
  12. I took my a/p and micro at dunwoody Perimeter. I had Logan for a&p I can say she really prepared me. Friends of mine had levinson for a&p and liked her as well. I had Thornton for micro. He also was a great teacher.
  13. I have faith I'll get in for the spring round! I need to get my grammar and reading higher, My science was 91 and math was 87. Yes text me, it will all work out in the right time!
  14. I only received a letter by mail for waitlist, no email. Incase anyone else is waiting on an email.
