Hi everyone!
The deadline for the ACE application for Spring 2018 at Georgia State University was yesterday and so now the wait begins! Who else applied?
My stats are:
Undergrad GPA: 3.7
Pre-requisite and Science GPA: 4.0
TEAS score: 91.3
Good luck to everyone and hopefully we'll all be meeting in January!
I took A&P at the school I attended before transferring into GSU so I'm not sure about that one. As far as micro goes, I had Dr. Beirne...I would look him up on rate my professor before you sign up for his class. It's very challenging and many people don't like it for that reason but I've enjoyed him.
How early did you guys get your application in? I submitted mine Sept 7, 2017, and only last week did it get put into the admissions status as "Complete: Ready for review." I hope I don't have to wait another month for an answer.
I applied for ACE for Spring 2018 and my stats are program GPA 3.8, GPA (sadly I have over 120 credit hours) 3.3, TEAS 90.2. I was also a military medic and worked EMS...hoping that counts for something!
Hey guys!
I applied for spring 2018 traditional
I hope we all get in and from the nursing friends I asked they said they found out the next month
My stats (aka teas score) aren't as impressive but...
Teas: 83
Undergrad gpa: 4.23
Science gpa: 4.2
I have a little over 100 volunteer hours( medshare and school)
Good luck everyone!!!! )))
I usually just google GSU APPLICATION STATUS, and choose the first link. Try copy and pasting this link:
The main screen says 'Your letter is on the way' but doesn't say if it's good or bad! Does anyone else's show that?
Heather, mine says that too. I think everyone's probably still says "Ready for Review." But I don't think our letters are in the mail yet. I could be wrong, but I'm fairly certain we'll get an email with the decision at the same time as when they update our status on the applicant status check. I feel the official mailed letter will be the last thing we get, after we already know!
Hey everyone!
I applied to both ACE and traditional. I have a BS in psych from UGA so I'm hoping that makes up for my slightly lower GPAs.
Program- 3.44
Science- 5.52
TEAS- 93.3
I wrote my essay about antivaxxers and have pretty good letters of rec. I'd feel a lot better if my GPA was higher, but there's not much I can do about that at this point. I called the office a few weeks ago and they said we can expect to hear something 4-6 weeks after the application deadline, so some of us might hear something on Monday!

hello you all
I hope you all get into the program successfully. I will be attending GSU next semester. Would you all be able to tell me the best teachers to take for A&P 1/2 and micro biology. I would be very grateful.
