Hi Guys!
Anyone planning to apply to the ADN program for Fall 2020? If so, does anybody want to share their stats?
What side of town you stay on for the hour drive? I'm in McDonough. Thanks! Excited to finally be this far but scared at the same time! Scary to only be allowed to fail 2 before being kicked out but hey it is 6 classes in all ? but studying and using the testing tip guides/books will have to be the go-to. Test taking is always hard until you get use to those type of test, which sound hard. It's the math that will scare me to a C if anything. @Jennychi24 I know you are in school now, are y'all taking online classes now? no clinicals due to COVID-19

I live in the Stockbridge area my clinical was at Newnan which was the second closest spot to me besides ATL, the math in nursing school is actually really easy scored 100% on both my dosage calc exams first attempt each semester ! Trust me , you’ll love the nursing math ??? It’s been my life savior and I hate math ? it’s really basic math , if you now basic math it’ll be like a cake walk . It’s really easy and my favorite thing in nursing school haha ? ????

The math does not affect your grade but your seat if you fail the math exam 3 times , you get 3 attempts at . Need to make 100% to remain in the course or it will count as a failed course attempt ! But no it does not affect your grade unless you miss questions of the math added on your exam, if you get what I’m saying .
And yess online , it’s rough ???? @Kelz but making it and passed my last exam with a B , have another one upcoming and I’m making concept maps like crazy ????
@Jennychi24 sounds like you got the swing of things! Well good luck on your next exam. You have to take the dosage calc every semester? As you already made a 100, and WOW! you have to make 100 each time, now that scares me ? what do you mean by your seat? What do you think helps you the most for tests picmonics, Test success- taking techniques for beginning nursing students, note cards, Youtube, etc? ?

Thank you so much! Yes, I am over the moon now. It's Nursing Program at Perimeter College. I sent an email to Miss ***** to inquire what could I improve to be more competitive for the next application period, and she sent me back acceptance letter . It was unexpected, but it was great that it happened though ?

Unfortunately not ? all I received was a letter saying I will be considered for Spring 2021. CONGRATS BTW! I hadn’t realized this thread kept going (haven’t been receiving notifications).

You need to make over a 74, your exam grades plus final need to be a 75 average to pass the course , if you fail a course you have to repeat it , I wouldn’t recommend taking any other classes with nursing courses I learned the hard way my first semester taking human development. And another note , in your first semester if you drop fundamentals or psych and you pass one , but fail the other or dropped it you won’t be allowed to enter the next course until that’s done and you passed what you failed or dropped if that makes sense, so no , you will be in a whole new co-Hort, it’s kind of like staying back , and you can only fail nursing courses twice before being exited out ? so work hard and stay on it, it was sad like I said we started with 80, at orientation we had 72 , end of semester 57
