Published

Hey guys!! I wanted to know if any of you guys planned on applying to georgia state perimeter ASN program in the Spring time?? I wanted to hear yall input, stats, TEAS, acceptance rate and everything else! also I had question. Does it matter if you failed other non nursing related courses? like does that automatically disqualify? or do they just focus on the courses needed for nursing?? but overall I know there deadline is July 31st so im nervous!

Good Morning everyone!

So I have a quick dilemma question and maybe someone in this group may have advice or directions for me.

I applied for Spring 2022 as we all did. I am an active student under GSU. My dilemma is this Fall I will not need to take anymore courses with them since they all have been completed. Therefore, once the semester starts they will deactivate any students who aren't in classes for the Fall semester and I need access because they send the acceptances and rejections by your school email. I even called admissions and they did confirm that will happen unless I take a course and I don't want to take any extra classes if I don't need them. As I am a full time worker and mom.

What would you guys do? Will anyone else be running into this issue? Thank you for any suggestions that may help with this.. Have a blessed day!

Yes I am also having the same issue. You would have to inform admissions that you would not be taking any classes this Fall, and they have something called the reactivation or smth like that. I am not sure how it works, but I tried calling them and they have not been picking up.

That is so frustrating! Before I decided to take some classes I’d need in the future this fall, I had the same issue. When I talked to the ASN Admissions Counselor, she also verified that they would deactivate it, but she indicated there was a way to call and have it reactivated. Maybe you can email her (you know the one, but we can’t say names on here) and ask if there’s a way for it to be sent via snail mail? I’m sure there are plenty of people in this boat.

I called and advised admissions of that this morning (I sat on hold like 20 minutes by the way ?) and he said they cannot guarantee the account will be back active by the end of September. He said it can take as long as December but could be sooner since they will be getting it reactivated for Spring 2022. I had to do that in January too because same thing happened last year while I was taking classes at GGC in the Fall. I guess all I can do is try that again if I'm deactivated and pray they rush it.

If I hear anything else, I will definitely share with you!

Exactly! Super frustrating. I actually just emailed her before I saw your post. I will keep you posted. In January they made me do a reactivation application when I called and it happened to me last time.

Right now she is just asking can we do a reactivation applications. I told her yes but I just don't want them to take longer then the end of September to get it reactivated. I guess that's all we can do...

Please do keep us posted!

Hope I'm posting in the right place! So sorry if not! First time poster and trying to figure out what goes where. Has anyone had experience as a post bach? I'm wondering what the ACE program uses to calculate the GPA. My first BA GPA isn't so hot, but I have a 4.0 for GSU pre-reqs, so far. I was told they only look at grades from GSU but I'm thinking that's too good to be true.

Hey! Does anyone know which classes they use to calculate our GPAs? Also how much does it hurt your application if you haven't taken A&P II or Microbiology yet?

Y’all that test was ?

I am also in the same boat sis!! I sent my transcript in for those classes, but it would be past the deadline before they even are able to process them into PAWS so I'm also scared ?

Not bad at all!
What happened?! Did you feel ready? Did you buy the ATI TEAS Practice B or C or the A+P practice tests?

I take the TEAS tomorrow morning. I feel solid.
