Georgia State Perimeter ASN- Fall2020 Applicants

Nursing Students School Programs

Hello!

Let's keep this forum active. I want to go through the process with you all.

I have applied for Fall2020 and this wait is killing me. I received a letter stating I meet the minimum requirements and will have an answer BY April 30.

I keep checking the mail regardless of the letter. My backup plans are Chatt Tech and South College who has basically already accepted me but I do NOT want to pay their crazy tuition fees. However, if I'm rejected from both Ga State and Chatt Tech then to South College I go.

My stats: TEAS: 81

Overall GPA: 3.81

Science GPA: 4.0

I've taken all pre-reqs and am ready to go. Still in some extra classes to get my health science associates. I graduate this May.

What are your stats? Your backup plans? Share your impatience. This wait is torture

@NurseNurseNurseNurseNurse Welcome & CONGRATS! What are you stats? You finish prerequisites?

Hello! ? I was also accepted into the Fall 2020 cohort. I sent a request to be added to the FB page.

@CharY CONGRATS! What are you stats? Did you finish prerequisites?

That’s awesome!!

@Kelz Yay! So happy to hear that! Have you joined the FB group yet?

Hey everyone!

So due to moving In the middle of everything going on (great timing in the middle of a pandemic), I actually didn't find out I got accepted till yesterday. Turns out my acceptance letter was just sitting at my parents house! I didn’t expect any letters to come so soon with the pandemic going on. I was able to email Ms. ***** and told her I was accepting my spot, as well as update her with my new address. She hasn’t replied though after asking for my updated address, so I hope accepting that way is cool. I’m thinking about mailing the confirmation letter regardless just so it’s postmarked by the 10th which was the deadline in the original letter.

This is my second attempt. I applied for Spring 2020 semester and didn’t get in. Retook a class and here we are! I’m pretty excited!

CONGRATS! You made it in time @Clcross18x

LOL I hope so @Kelz. The lack of communication makes me a bit nervous, but I guess I’m being paranoid about it. Plus I tried the registering for NURS 1921 early thing and it had a cohort restriction and wouldn’t let me register for it. I don’t know if that’s due to my major being Gen Ed right now or what.

I wouldn't worry about registration as its a total of 80 spots so everyone will get it. Sure they'll fix. I haven't registered yet
