I got into the traditional program for Spring '10 also. I did all my prereqs at KSU so I'm hoping to see some familiar faces. Is anyone considering taking Patho online?

hey I was wondering what your letters came in? was it still just a white envolope or was it a thick folder type. I was just wondering, obviously I didn't get accepted. But congrats to all that did.

Hey Natalie,

It came in a regular, white envelope. There were only 2 sheets of paper: the letter and the contract to sign and return.

I'm so sorry to hear you didn't get in this time. I know it's a major let-down! But, don't give up. I didn't get in Fall '09 (didn't even get an interview), but I got in this time. Plus, with the new building opening next year, they will be able to take more people. Hang in there! Best wishes...

FYI... I created a Group on Facebook for anyone starting the program Spring '10. The group is titled" Kennesaw State University School of Nursing, Class of 2011 (August Grads)". I thought it would be a good way to start getting to know each other, help people find roomates, carpools, etc.

Thanks for the facebook page. I think it is a great idea. Will seach for it and add it to my page. Congrats on getting in and see you in the Spring. Btw, I spoke to Fran yesterday and she said that she hoped to have more information packets coming out by November 1 on what needs to be done.

Emilysuz.. I remember you were next to me at the interviews you said you had friends in the program that moved to atlanta. Can you refresh my memory what they did again?

Im trying to decide to just go ahead and live in atl since accelerated starts clinicals in the 1st semester (not 100% sure about that but i think thats what they said in the interview).

thanks 40love. I appreciate you letting me know. I am not giving up yet..but I have been rejected from ksu and clayton state and emory (2005) so it does get kinda dissapointing. But in 2005 i wasn't done with my prereqs and i am now so hopefully I will get in somewhere. I am going to keep applying to different schools. But congrats. and best wishes to you all!

oh and it was my first interview..I have applied probably 5 or 6 times.

I don't know if anyone on here is still looking for a roommate, but I got accepted into the Accelerated program beginning in January and will be moving from Athens (graduating for UGA) to Kennesaw (I talked to Fran and she suggested not living in Jasper, as you will only have to drive there 2 times a week). I don't know a single person who is looking for a roommate and I'd really love to room with someone (someones) who is also in nursing school.
