Hi All,
I will be graduating this May and am currently comparing and contrasting hospitals...
Although I am not going to make my decision of where to work based on the $$ I am certainly curious because I know the hourly wage for a new grad. at mostly all of the Atlanta area hospitals except for CHOA...so does anyone out there have a round-about figure to cure my curiousity??
Also, any other advice is greatly appreciated... Thank you :nuke:

Hi, Do you mind PMing me that list you have of the hospital salaries as I am currently considering relocating from NY to Atlanta and this would come in handy. Thank you.
LOL... Sorry if I was misleading but don't have an actual lists... some recruiters from various hospitals have visited my school and disclosed base pay for new grads. But is seems they are basically all very similar in pay give or take a dollar or so..
This is not a comphrensive list just what I remember..
Northside: 21.78
Atlanta Med. Center: 21.00; $15/hr if you work before passing NCLEX
Piedmont: 20.99 or 21.99 (I think it is 21.99)
CHOA: still no clue
Hope this helps..

Don't know if you ever got the answer to your question, but the nurse recruiter from CHOA told me $21.27/hr plus shift differentials: $4.75/hr weekdays & $6.50/hr weekends.
Was the pay for RN or LPN?
$21.27/hr is for a new grad RN
