Starting a new thread for any Georgia Highland applicants for the Fall 2013 nursing program. It's been a long road getting to this point - waiting to find out if IN for Fall 2013 :rolleyes:

Yes, a large envelope... I had to read every word in 1st paragraph before it hit me...lol

What a tightrope walk it has been...

And Morgan.. This isn't the end! I imagine with your score being so close to the cutoff you may just get a spot! Not everyone who got accepted is for sure going to go to Highlands. Have hope :)

Congratulations to everyone who got it! Mine was a no, my score was a 1050. Luckily I was accepted at another school so I'll take it but GHC is where I had taken all my classes and was my first choice. To all of you who didn't make the cut at GHC ( like me ) I hope something works out for you; I know everyone worked hard to get to this point...don't give up!

Mine came!!!! I got an envelope that said congrats!! I am in;))))) Come on, lets hear some good news!! I think they placed me at Rome...anyone else there? anyone near the canton area?

I won't be home to get my mail until after 8! Those that got accepted, was it a big envelope/package? Lowest score was 1054? That's what my score was.... Hopefully I made the cut!

I called this afternoon to book my registration time on 7/25...I want my pick of class times, etc (hint, hint!) lol

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. Unfortunately I believe it's time to start looking for a new career. I called about my score & it turns out it actually is THAT low. Hope weaver either misread or I misunderstood what she said when I asked if a class didnt transfer over to Highlands did it count and she said that it didnt. But as I learned today it does. I made an F the first time I took anp1 due to missing the final for a family emergency.. So that's what brings my score down so low. To even get my score to a 1041 I would have to take anp1 for a THIRD time & take the TEAS again and make 80's and I'd have to wait for next fall to apply. So i fell like I've wasted 4 yrs of my time (started in 2009 straight outta high school) & I've taken pre req there is to take for a bachelors. It's definitely frustrating especially when I have a daughter to take care of and I aced anp2 & micro. Congrats to everyone that got in I'm sure you will all be wonderful nurses!
