DMC87 Apr 17, 2013 I think I'm in a good position but who knows?! lol - Gotta hold onto the faith. I have all my prereqs done as of this semester + a few extra. 3.8 GPA and an 80 on the TEAS with 78 in Science and 88 in math. Crossing fingers :) 0 Likes
svckxb01 Apr 19, 2013 I've applied too! Currently at Chattahoochee tech finishing Micro. I'm hoping my transcript will make it on time to be counted. If not, I'll have to reapply in the spring. 0 Likes

[/quote']Just a tidbit of information, I am also a Chattahoochee tech student, just got accepted to the GHC bridge program... the transcript thing was a nightmare, so take this advice.... GET ON THEIR BUTTS AND STAY ON THEM until they send your transcript. Speak to the registrar herself... They have the ability to send electronic transcripts right then and there with two clicks of the mouse. They don't tell people that because then everyone would be in their faces. They will help you if you implore them to, and let them know you are on a strict timeline! Hope this helps!! Edited Apr 19, 2013 by nursenicolea 0 Likes

I am going to beg my teacher to post my grade on banner by Friday May 10. Then go to the Registrar and beg them to send right then! Lots of pleading! The good news is that GHC has a hold on my account waiting for this grade so they know it is coming! 0 Likes

The nerve racking part was trying to identify my unknown. Now that I have that, smooth sailing. I have a teacher who is not very helpful. Had to learn a lot on my own and help from other classmates. The open lab assistant was terrific though! 0 Likes
DMC87 Apr 19, 2013 I remember the terror all semester worrying about the unknowns....huge relief when done! Now to just finish up this semester ...only a couple more weeks to go. :) 0 Likes
sjutras Apr 22, 2013 I applied for Fall 2013... I'm still a little nervous. My GPA is decent (3.3) but I did really well on the TEAS (99th percentile - 100% math and 93% science). I'm just worried that because my GPA isn't a 3.5 or better that I might not get in. Even though my worksheet score is 1150. I emailed a nursing advisor and she said last year they accepted a worksheet score of 1000 or above. What is everyone else's worksheet score? 0 Likes
DMC87 Apr 22, 2013 Sounds good, I was wondering what the average cutoff scores of those previously accepted. Mine is a 1261, pending expected grades for this semester. Studying for finals this week, Ive had about enough! lol 0 Likes
sjutras Apr 23, 2013 1261 is a great score! Like I said, last fall the minimum score was around 1000 (high 900's). Waiting sucks! 0 Likes

I applied as well for fall 2013, but I highly doubt that I will get accepted. I'm finishing up my last class now, medical microbiology. I love the class honestly!! My lab instructor was phenomenal!! My lecture professor is tough and challenging. The pressure is on for the last test and the final. Good luck everyone!! 0 Likes
