Hopefully, we are getting close to hearing something. I wanted to start a new thread and see if anyone wanted to play the waiting game for fall ADN Program. We've been waiting since April 1st and it's about time we heard something.:anbd:

I agree....I am very tired of the waiting game. I have to say dallas that you did a great job naming this thread. I have been in the GA highlands waiting game for toooooooooo long!

Thanks stardan. I should have named it the never-ending waiting game. Or the energizer bunny waiting game b/c it keeps going, and going, and going, and going, and going on.

3 Weeks ago, I bought one of the $3 health assessment DVD's from a seller on amazon. It never arrived and the transaction got canceled, so yesterday, I bought the $35 dvd directly from Amazon. My Potter and perry book came with a DVD for the book and I thought until orientation that it was what we needed. I had no idea until they told us that it was an additional Mosby's DVD. I goggled it and found 2 of the videos online.

OMG.. so did i! and Star, AND Holly both ROCK with the phone calls today :) Geee... for me and Joy's sake, I'm hoping they're excepting 26 Wellstar employees.. and TWO KENNESTONE VOLUNTEERS! lol.. Maybe we'll get lucky, now that I'm ecstatic about not paying the money back! Now... it just makes me wonder about the RN that told me they were taking money out of her check........ if she can make it.. so can we :) Right?? lol Oh and Hayley, thanks for the email!

I talked to Dr. Re*s and to the campus bookstore about the Neighborhood. The bookstore says that it is $73.35 new and $55 used. There is no used price, because it can only be used once. So, the bookstore said that the lady in the nursing department who is in charge of that Neighborhood thing had a death in the family and was supposed to tell the nursing department that the $55 is incorrect.

HOWEVER!!! I ordered mine today from the website and I wanted to let you guys know that if you put in your information to become a member, you can get it for $66!! Membership is free.

Since I was in the other group of orientee's on Weds/Thurs. I knew of 3 Wellstar employees..one in cath lab, one in PACU, and myself...But if you gave a bad interview, even if your an employee..you should'nt get the scholarship. Hopefully I gave a good interview!
