Hopefully, we are getting close to hearing something. I wanted to start a new thread and see if anyone wanted to play the waiting game for fall ADN Program. We've been waiting since April 1st and it's about time we heard something.:anbd:

The last question was tough....I just emailed a friend of mine who is in the LPN-RN bridge program and asked her what we will be doing at orientation. Hopefully, she can give us a little more information.

Does anyone know when we can start using the money from FAFSA? I would like to order some more of the books for class.

Hey everyone! So i just found out about this website at my interview on thursday with Wellstar.. AND i soooooo could have used you guys eariler this summer! That assessment was ridiculous, i was completely lost on the questions that had 4 letters and then you picked what didn't belong... Anyway, I think they're cutting it kinda close, school starts in three weeks and they said it'll take 2 weeks to know about the scholarship! Did anyone hear any different?? OOOH! And was i supposed to get a badge made, or are we getting them done at orientation? ooops.

They told me it was going to be 1-2 weeks. I also asked if we would receive a letter or a phone call...she stated that she was not sure how they were going to let us know.

CJohn....not sure about the nursing id badges

I talked to the lady in the Charger Card office at the Rome campus about a month ago, and she said that I could just come in to see her and get it done.

I haven't had time to do that yet. I just called the nursing department to find out for you, but the nursing secretary won't be back in until Wednesday and Dr. Re*s was in a meeting. I'll try to call again later today.

I had my badge made after I registered. I really liked the assesment test - much more than I liked the interview! I am planning on coming up to IHOP Wednesday morning. Will someone please email me (or send a FB message) her phone number in case I can't find it? Thanks!! Also, orientation is casual, like jeans - right?

You're not the only goofy one! I still have my scrubs in the bag that they were put in when I purchased them. They are hanging on my bedroom door knob....and every time I catch a glance of them, I have to try them on. (like they all of a sudden aren't gonna fit or something...duh!!!) hahaha

CJohn...have you read the previous posts? (I know there are a LOT!) Anyway....we are meeting up at IHOP at 8 on Wednesday morning in Rome before orientation. You're welcome to join us.

AW! Fun.. I'll have to look back and read some, where is the IHOP? I know turner mccall, and broad street lol.. i live in smyrna :) But i'll definately try to make it! The only thing stressing me out now is waiting on Hitzeman to post my final grade for micro. As long as i made a C, i'm in the clear! I know i did, i just want the email to prove it

If you are coming down 411 to get to Rome like some of the others are, you will pass IHOP on the left a couple of blocks before you get to Broad Street. IHOP is right behind Chilis. It is across the street from Home Depot and K-Mart.

.....I am stressed about the scholar program. I don't like that we will not know if we are going to Marietta vs Rome until 1 week before school begins. It's not much time for making carpooling plans, childcare plans,.....and it just leaves a lot of questions unanswered till the last minute.:spbox:

I realize it's an opportunity and am grateful, I just wish it was a couple of weeks before school begins.
