Georgia Highlands College Waiting Game!

U.S.A. Georgia

Published

Hopefully, we are getting close to hearing something. I wanted to start a new thread and see if anyone wanted to play the waiting game for fall ADN Program. We've been waiting since April 1st and it's about time we heard something.:anbd:

Courtney, I think we are going to all be in the same class!!I hope anyways. the reason I say that is b/c all of our labs are together!!! We will be one big happy family!!!!!

I am so happy for you Dallas!!!

Congrats to everyone who is where they want to be! Now we can concentrate on the important stuff!

Has anyone looked over the reading asignments and video asignments? I started last night. In our fundamentals book there is a offer to join evolve(free). This website is really cool! You can get chapter audio downloads..(you can download it to your computer or mp3 player). It also has helpfull quizes and videos to watch.

I'll take all the help I can get!

Yes, I started reading the fundamentals book. I found the study guide is helpful too. I will definitely check out that website! I also was curious, for the videos on reserve in the nursing lab.....are we supposed to do that before wednesday or will we know more about that then? Or did I just totally miss something they told us last week. let me know if any of you know :)

I don't remember them saying anything about the videos in the nursing lab???? I guess we will find out more the first day of class!!

Good...I didnt either. haha. but I just saw it on the outline/reading assignment pages. Im just going to read as much of that as I can and watch the videos that i can actually see/have.

Yeah, Kaylan I am doing the same thing :stdnrsrck:

I'm pretty sure the video on reserve is the same as the Mosby videos that came with the fundamentals book. Apparently, they have them available to watch.

I bet you're right. The one thing that sucks about Marietta is I don't know if we have a place to print off papers like at Rome. We also have to go farther to get to the library if we need it. I don't know much about the area. We'll have to find some good study spots.

I love to study at Starbucks!!!!

There is a starbucks right next to the hospital..Kennestone.:typing

I think the development center will also be a good place to study because they have our classroom and a huge cafeteria area...I dont know if it is quiet enough or crowded during the day though.
