Is anyone applying for Fall 2010 admission to this program?

crap I am not going to be finished with my class until june 7, and who knows how long it will take to be on my transcript! I guess, its okay, b/c I am retaking this class. I already made a C in it, but hope I atleast get a B this time. Good luck to everyone. I am not even really stressed about waiting, b/c it feels like all I do is wait for letters. I keep getting rejected, so i am really going to try to just not think about it. what will be will be. :)

I applied for the fall and just wanted to say hello also! I put either campus on my application - I live in Kennesaw so Marietta would be closer, but I'll drive to Rome. I'm just ready to go!

Anybody have any idea what a good admission score is on the worksheet? I wish I had a better idea of which letter to expect!

letsgomets31 - glad to hear there's another person traveling from kennesaw. i am also hoping for the marietta campus, but will definitely drive to rome if necessary. the drive to rome from kennesaw isn't too bad - no real traffic. it just would be easier to drive to windy hill.

according to the allnurse thread for ghc 2009, there were students accepted with a score of 1050. but i think it probably changes from year to year depending on the group of students. i'm sure the nursing dept could give an idea of the range of acceptable scores from last fall.

Talked to one of the secretaries in the nursing dept this morning. The letters will be mailed the first week of June.

Boo, I don't want to wait that long! lol. Oh well, at least maybe knowing when they're going out will help me stop thinking about it all the time.

Hello Everyone! And let the waiting begin, or should I say continue! Does anyone have any idea how many applications they received last fall and how many actually got in? I am curious to see what our odds may be. I wish everyone the best of luck and I hope we all get to meet each other in the FALL!

mgeiger - last fall, some of the applicants found out a range of accepted scores (from the previous fall) and a "ball-park" idea of number of applicants and number accepted to each campus. I can't remember what the numbers were, but I assumed they got the info from the nursing office secretary. You can try Ms. C - if she is not busy, she is VERY helpful. The nursing dept may not give you the exact numbers for this fall, but may give you an idea of the trend ('09) for applicants. Good luck!

P.S. I can tell you that a friend got the Marietta campus and the scholarship, and had a 1239 on the worksheet.

I was told by the director that the lowest score accepted for the spring was an 805.

What were you guys scores on the nursing worksheet? Mine was mid 1100's...I am still soo nervous! I wish they would just send the letters lol!!

Savannah, you will have a good shot at getting admitted...Have they already started sending out the acceptance letters? or will we have to wait until next week?

I believe my score was in the 1300's. The nursing department told me that Fall 2009 scores were in the range of 804-1460.
