Is anyone else applying for the Georgia Highlands traditional program for Fall 2018? Just wanting to get feelers out there. Put my application in today and feeling a little nervous.

Hey, y'all.!My name is Amanda and I am a second year in the program. I just wanted to say Hi and I remember waiting on pins and needles last year like you are doing now. It is the worst, but it will be an incredible day when the letter does come. My suggestion- take a video when you open the letter- it will be a great keepsake. :)

I'm actively planning a "Welcome to the Program Meet and Greet" for you all where a few of the sophomores and I will meet with you and give you an idea of what to expect and best resources to help you survive 1st year. There are some great people in the class ahead of you who will be happy to help ya'll,too.:) Good luck, congrats and welcome, soon:) Can't wait to meet ya'll!❤

Should be getting letters this week. Chance said they should be going out "by Monday".... so hopefully that's accurate

That would be awesome! Hopefully i will get in and get some pointers from you. Can you give me an idea of the class schedule for the 1st semester? I'm trying to figure out if I will have at least one day off a week to work.

I'm a nervous mess! I've been waking up super early to check my email because I get a picture of what I'm supposed to be getting in the mail for the day, and so far nothing!

Hey sin.saron! Sorry, I replied last night, but for some reason it did not take.

Unfortunately, I cannot really give you an idea as to the schedule because they are revamping the program now. So, our schedule last year probably will jot be the same as yours this year. However, I can tell yoh what we did last year...

1. 1st semester we took 4 classes: first 8 weeks were intro and health assessment. 2nd half was pharmacology. The foundations class went the entire semester. All classes were online except for Foundations and we met Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for that class. We also had skills labs and clinicals in the mix

2. Last year, people did manage yo work part time and some even worked full time. It is going to be rough though. LAST year, the best days to work were fri, sat and sun.

3. Be flexible. I know we are are OCD and planners by nature, but trust me-things will ALWAYS come up and you're just gonna have to roll with it.

4. When you get your acceptance, there should be info in there about a workshop that will be more helpful
