U.S.A. Georgia

Published

Is anyone else applying for the Georgia Highlands traditional program for Fall 2018? Just wanting to get feelers out there. Put my application in today and feeling a little nervous.

About to work on the application now and mail it out on Monday. I previously applied to the school but never took classed so I had to reapply. It's taking a little longer than normal to get an admissions decision so I figured I'd just apply now and worry about the rest later since the deadline is quickly approaching.

Hello,

I applied about a month or so ago. I take my teas this upcoming week. Hope I get in :arghh:

Good luck on your TEAS!

Thank you!!!

I just turned in my application this month. I'm scheduled to take the TEAS on the 24th! I'm pretty stressed about it, because it determines whether I'm actually competitive or not. Good luck to you on yours!

After you guys sent in your application did you get a notice or confirmation email? I mailed out all my stuff Saturday so I'm just wondering what comes next since we don't find out for a while.

I am applying as well. Do you know how many people usually apply for the program and how many spots are open?

No, we don't get any confirmation. You can call the nursing department at Heritage Hall and ask to speak to the administrative assistant. He has helped me a ton and can probably confirm that your application was received. It does suck not finding out for a while. Based on some of the past threads on here they have typically gotten their letters no later than the first week in June. Good luck to you!

From what I have been told, there are typically a couple of hundred applicants. They accept 60 students to the program each year, then a further 25 students for the LPN/Paramedic Bridge program in the fall. Good luck to you!
