Hey, just wanted to start a thread to see who else is applying for Fall 2020 and what your GPA/TEAS scores/other application stuff is like!
I applied with a 3.2 overall, 4.0 science, 87 on the TEAS, and 108 volunteer hours.

I pray I get in GGC because that's where I been the last few years but I plan to apply to GSU BSN traditional and maybe ADN for Gwinnett Tech and GA State but I'm praying for GGC. I may be older then some of you guys. 36 single mom with 2 boys so my GGC my first choice for convenience. I had Mercer on my list but they are pretty expensive.
and I'm sorry I meant Elle! Was trying to tag you but I cant figure it out LOL
Yes GGC is pretty economical. Chamberlain is cheaper the Mercer and less competitive. My next choice bc it’s cheaper is UNG. No problem, I was trying to find the GSU thread too. But the practice test looks just like the real one. Use little the calculator on the top right of the screen on the math section. Try some of the apps the other ppl suggested. Don't worry about the age I'm, about to be, 36 too.
I'm sure you could do that; however, GGC provides a link for them to complete.

Yeah, they won’t be able to submit anything until you have the links. GGC will send an email explaining how to send the school the necessary documents after you fill out an application which is really just basic information about you! You can still ask early, but just let them know they might have to wait until the application period opens to actually submit anything.
I think GGC does this because it’s basically a form they have to fill out asking certain questions about you. That’s how 2 professors of my professors explained it to me. Hope that clarifies things!

Thank you! I know exactly how you feel, but your hard work will pay off! For the TEAS, give yourself at least 3 months to study for it. Know your strengths and weaknesses and do as many practice questions as you can, particularly for English and Math. For science and English, you’ll need to review the concepts outline in the TEAS study manual. The manual doesn’t help a bunch since it only gives you a brief overview, so I recommend you study other ways, too. The PocketPrep app is really good too. And of course, your old A&P notes. It’s really not that bad or scary, but you do need to prepare for it. And don’t be shy, if you have any questions later on, let me know. And good luck, too!
