Hey, just wanted to start a thread to see who else is applying for Fall 2020 and what your GPA/TEAS scores/other application stuff is like!
I applied with a 3.2 overall, 4.0 science, 87 on the TEAS, and 108 volunteer hours.

Stacy, you got in Fall 2020?
CONGRATS! Pretty sure that 2029 is a typo LOL. And yeah, I got accepted. I already paid for my spot. Now I’m anxiously waiting for that information packet they’re supposed to send.
Hey Ladies!! My name is Latoya. I have been going part time at GGC for the last 3 years. I just wanted to congratulate you guys. I love these threads, it motivates me so much. I actually plan to apply this November for Fall 2021. I have completed 3 years of community service at my church, I have all my letters of recommendations in place. I plan to take my Tea's in December. Do you guys have any advise for me in preparation to apply? I'm excited and nervous because I've worked so hard to get to this point. May I ask also once you are accepted, what is the fee to hold your spot? I'm so happy for you all!
TEAS
By the practice test on ATI. Take the test without studying. After taking the test it will tell you what area you should focus on. Buy the book version (I bought both used ATI & Mometrics). Study, then take the book tests; make sure you TIME every test you take from this point forward. Once you’re within the range of ideal score take the last ATI practice test. However, take it in the library or a quite area on a computer that is not yours, preferably a test top and NO DISTRACTIONS. I suggest this because it mimics the real test. Again TIME yourself. If you score close to your goal then you’re ready.
@ Ella Baena, OMG I just read in your GA Perimeter thread so I screen shoot of your message so I could order the practice book and test!! Thanks so much! I pray I get in GGC because that's where I been the last few years but I plan to apply to GSU BSN traditional and maybe ADN for Gwinnett Tech and GA State but I'm praying for GGC. I may be older then some of you guys. 36 single mom with 2 boys so my GGC my first choice for convenience. I had Mercer on my list but they are pretty expensive.
and I'm sorry I meant Elle! Was trying to tag you but I cant figure it out LOL
