Georgia Baptist College of Nursing/ Mercer University Fall 2019

Hey!

I wanted to start a thread for those applying to Mercer's nursing program starting fall 2019. As of now, I know that the application has not been opened but they did say is should open sometime this month. I am on my last semester of prerequisites, which consists of microbiology and the lab and philosophy. I had my transcript evaluated last semester and was told my transfer GPA is a 3.349 and my science GPA is a 3.000. I highly recommend you guys get your transcript evaluated, especially those transferring! I have 2 years experience as a CNA in home care and 1 in the hospital setting along with some hospital volunteer hours. Share your stats, advice and questions. Good luck to everyone!

Also- does EVERYONE get an interview or can you get in without having an interview?

They told me half of the ppl applying will be interviewed and next yr everyone will be.

Hi everyone! I recently was accepted and just made my final decision today that I will be attending Mercer's nursing program. I can't wait to meet everyone! Has anyone made a facebook group of admitted students?

Hi, I’m looking for a roommate too for sometime in October cause that’s when my lease expires. I don’t know if there’s a place in the school that we can advertise

I applied with a 3.63. My TEAS score wasn't the best. I took it once prior to taking Anatomy and ended up with an 80. I don't know if they take into consideration where you go to school or not, but I took my pre-reqs at University of Georgia.

The admissions team will make an official FB group for the whole class this summer. Just FYI.
