Hey! Just wanted to start a forum for anybody applying to this program for fall 2018. I have everything turned in and I'm just waiting for it all to process on the portal. I retook some science course after I dropped out of school for three years but managed to repeat all my classes with an a so my science gpa is looking like a 3.7 but it will be a 2.9 if it is averaged but I am not sure. I have 400 hours of volunteer service. 2 years of CNA experience. 1 year of managent experience ans I got an 85.3 on my teas first try. Feel free to share your stats or your anticipation! If I'm accepted I also would like to know my future colleagues :)
Yep they told me the same thing... wow I thought I was the only one. Our stats must of have been just enough but not quite. But I agree, anatomy is a two semester class, to just "study" it to have a seat in the fall is terrifying... but I'm glad I'm not alone. I need this to graduate on time as well. I'm already a non traditional student and I kinda already told my family I was in sooooo :/
I don't know how they calculated my gpa since I dropped out of school twice and retook the classes I dropped. If you take my last attempts my gpa should have been science 3.8 if not, then maybe 2.9. My teas score was an 85. Recommendation letter from my microbiology teacher and cna experience.
I wasn't accepted directly, I have to do an interview in April.
Hi everyone,
I just submitted my personal statement, which was the final piece of my application. I'm a non traditional student (33, married with 3 kids). My stats are:
Cumulative 3.2
Transfer 3.6
Science 3.5
TEAS 94.0
Good luck to those of you still waiting for a decision! Congratulations to all those accepted...I hope to meet you all in August :)
Science - I think my final science gpa was around a 3.4overall - was around a 3.6
teas 6 - 86.7
worked for a good long time on the essay
had a letter of rec from the doc I work for
Ga Baptist is my dream school and the only one I applied to
Can't wait to meet you all! Happy New Year!
Hi! Did they ask for a letter of recommendation or did you just submit it as an extra document?
