Georgia Baptist College of Nursing Fall 2009

Published

Hello Everyone,

I am gearing up to apply for Fall 2009 at Georgia Baptist. I wanted to know if anyone else is applying there for Fall 2009 as well, or if there is anyone who has already been accepted and wouldn't mind sharing their credentials (i.e. overall gpa, nursing gpa, science gpa, if all prerequisities were completed, net score etc.) I am just trying to get a feel for the type of applicant they are looking for. Thanks so muc!

csweetooth it has a memory of 8G

Kels83, I hope it all works out for you. I too have a BA already and will probably end up taking out private loans to cover my living expenses (yuk!). I'm presently in Florida, so my husband and I have been trying to relocate to GA ever since I got my admission decision a few months ago. His job is in finance, so naturally that business isn't so hot right now. We're pretty much expecting to live apart until he can get a job in GA. So, naturally living in 2 different states and living apart is going to be pricey...I've been looking for private loans all over, but they are all variable rate loans which I was trying to avoid like the plague. Oh well, I guess we'll have to see what comes of it. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that you can find the means to go! ;)

On another note, I signed up for the August orientation. Anyone else going to that one?

Adavis--thanks! I wish you the best of luck with your situation too...I have come too far and overcome too many other obstacles to meet the requirements and be accepted, so I will keep trying! I will probably be attending the August orientation if everything works out. I live in SC right, so I will be relocating to GA as well!

Kels83 - I totally agree! Good luck with everything and I'll see you in August! :nuke:

Does anybody live in the Kennesaw/Acworth area and wants to carpool in the fall let me know!??

So how is everyone feeling after getting the clinical information letter from Ms. R???

What did it say? I have not received it......

Do tell - I have not received it yet either..

Specializes in Med-Surg / Trauma ICU.

It's basically a welcome memo for the course NUR 302, which is our 1st semester clinicals. It gives a lot of information (too much to list here) about specific things we will need to purchase (books, stethoscope, Nursepak, etc.) and it talks a lot about clinicals (dates, times, locations). Etc...

The website listed on the letter is not up yet. She said it would be another week or two.

Hmmm. I wonder when I'll be getting my letter...Guess I'm at the mercy of the mailman! LOL

I'm sure you'll get it today!!
