Georgetown Residency - February 2016

Hello everyone!

I am starting a thread about the residency program at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington D.C. starting in February 2016. It will be nice to share ideas and keep each other posted on the status of the application.

Has anyone heard back yet since sending the packet of stuff?

I called the nurse recruitement office because I had a gaffe with my school sending my transcripts to the wrong address causing my packet to be late. They said that they were going to start reviewing the applications on Monday so it was fine. I hope so.

Last Friday I received a call from a Nurse Recruiter asking what unit I wanted to be considered for since I put that I was open to all. She said they should be sending out emails sometime this week to set up interviews. Hope this helps!

Congrats @bnicole7! I will be starting at Georgetown in February, too. Several of my classmates have accepted positions as well. What unit will you be on? Can't wait to meet everyone!
