Georgetown Residency - February 2016

Hello everyone!

I am starting a thread about the residency program at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington D.C. starting in February 2016. It will be nice to share ideas and keep each other posted on the status of the application.

That seems strange -- I see an Oct start date application still open, why would they close the Feb/March/April? I guess I'll call them. Thanks :)

lgl525, I see the same thing. I didn't even know the application was open! Would you mind sharing here what you hear from them when you call?

Did you guys hear from Georgetown at all?

One of my friends went to the Georgetown Info Session earlier this week and they said that we should hear by today or Monday. Good luck everyone!

No luck here. I have a great GPA too, thought I had a good chance at an interview. Maybe I bombed their test. Sad.

Me too! I have a question: so, for the transcripts, are you sending all your transcripts or just the one from nursing school?

I'm sending the nursing school transcripts and my pre-reqs at the community college. Don't think there's the need for high school transcripts.

Do you have a previous undergrad? Are you sending those transcripts too?

faith2014- I do have a previous undergrad and am not including it in the transcripts. My current university took 100+ credits from my first degree and they are listed on the transcript :)

No previous undergrad. Just high school and community college. Transferred to a 4-year.
