Georgetown Residency - February 2016

Hello everyone!

I am starting a thread about the residency program at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington D.C. starting in February 2016. It will be nice to share ideas and keep each other posted on the status of the application.

Hey Faith,

I am also applying for their residency program this February! I graduate this December. Do you know when applications will be open? I heard from a classmate it is around mid-October.

The applications will be open until mid-october, but depending on the amount of people applying, they may close the application sooner - it has happened in the past.

Did you guys take the battery test yet?

Snap, I keep getting them mixed up. I did complete Georgetown battery test. I also applied to another Medstar and got confused.

Yeah, me too. I applied to Washington Hospital Center and already heard back from them. Ideally, I'd prefer georgetown. Let's hope its soon.

Do you mean for the Oct start date at WHC? I don't see anything for after that up yet? I graduate in Dec...

I just received a call from them wanting to clarify something on my application. So I'm guessing anytime soon. Fingers crossed!

I also graduate in December. For WHC, don't quote me but I believe the application is closed. My roommate was also searching this afternoon but couldn't find it. I asked her to apply regardless. Couldn't hurt
