Georgetown Accelerated BSN Fall 2010

I sent my application for the Accelerated BSN in the fall of 2010 and I am anxious already. I do not know if I have a chance of getting in. My GPA from my previous degree is a low 3.1, but I have a 4.0 on my pre-requisites so far. Anyone in my same situation?:confused:

Hi everyone! I applied to the ABSN for Fall 2010 as well and I am going crazy waiting to hear if I got an interview or not. I was just looking at the email I recieved from Laura on Feb 5 and I noticed that it said this:

"Application Completion Status

As applications are reviewed this month, notifications will be released either confirming application completion or notifying you of missing materials or additional information needed."

I never got an email confirming the completion of my application. I was just wondering if anyone received a confirmation email or not? I am worried that they never received my application or something. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I, too, never received notification that my app. was complete. I won't be surprised if there is a delay in receiving interview notifications. The university was likely closed for an entire week during the blizzards, and they probably received a record number of apps, like most other schools. So, it might mean waiting a bit more :uhoh3:. Hang in there!

LOL! Well at least they aren't doing things via snail mail... that would be absolute horror!

I just email them to make sure that they got everything on time, Laura there is really nice and prompt about emailing me back. I can't wait to hear back either! Suspense is killer.

Hi!

I also applied and am anxiously waiting if I get to interview or not. The last email I got was pretty generic stating the application, interview's going throughout march, and the scholarship due by april 5th. The website and the email said the invites for interviews would be sent out late Feb.. did anyone receive theirs yet?

I'm turning into a walking panic attack haha.. I just want to find out from all the schools all at once and get it over with! Every time the mail man comes I feel like I walk in slow motion to check the mail, ahh!

I also read above that they might be delayed due to the snow we got around here, which would make complete sense. Everything was shut down including the post office.. so that could have postponed things?

I haven't received anything yet but I have to say that every time someone posts a comment in this thread and I see "Georgetown" in my email inbox, I swear my heart rate shoots up. I heard that last year's Fall cohort had their emails sent out by February 28th so perhaps we may hear back by March 1st. If not early on though, some heard back throughout March due to the large number of applicants so I'm waiting to see what happens. I am definitely anxious though!

this is pretty crazy. i just got an email for an interview invite literally like 2min ago lol. just wanted to let ya'll know.
