Hi all!

I recently applied and was accepted to GWU ABSN program!! I thought I would start a thread so that others who are also looking at applying/have been accepted to the Fall 2016 cohort have a place to talk.

I look forward to meeting some of you very soon!

Yeah I found that most of the programs were pretty expensive also! I'll be coming from Michigan. I'm excited for a change.

Mindylane, did you find it better to live closer to campus rather than in DC? I know with the W2 program almost all of the clinicals would be at medstar so I wasn't sure if it would be better to live closer to the clinical site.

Hello! I applied for the Fall 2016 program as well! I sent in my application Feb 13th so just barely made the cutoff! I am currently in Kansas, so I am hoping to hear from some schools around here that I applied to first, but would be just as excited if I got accepted into GW! My (soon to be husband!!) and I would be up for the move to DC! My parents actually moved to there a couple months ago for work so it will be nice having them there!

For those who were accepted, how soon after you submitted your application on NursingCAS did you receive an acceptance phone call/ email/ letter? Congrats to those who were accepted!!
