George Washington University ABSN Summer 202

Published

Hi all! I recently deferred my acceptance to GWU to the summer of 2020. I was wondering if anyone else has applied or received an acceptance letter to this cohort. Wanted to make a space for those that are going to be attending summer 2020.

I talked to someone from admission. They said it's best to live closer to the Virginia Science and Technology Campus (VSTC) where most of our classes are. They also said to come to one of the upcoming admission day to meet others and see if they know people for housing or looking or roommates.

Gotcha! I will start looking at plcaes around there and then maybe call to see if I can set set appts to get a tour haha

Hi Everyone! Congrats to those accepted to the program. Just got my decision and have been waitlisted :(. Does anyone know someone who was on the waitlist and eventually made it in ?

Did you apply late? I applied in November and was accepted.

I did apply late since they do rolling admission. But should that be a reason why ?

Hi! For those who are coming from out of state, where are you looking to live?

I am looking at Loudoun Heights Apartments, heard these are super close to campus!

I’m trying to find a place nearby with people that are also from out of state in the same cohort.

Thanks! I was planning on reaching out to them too! Has anyone asked them out Fenton’s? The online store isn’t working.

I just applied to the Loundon Heights apartments, they are super responsive. They were able to get me a place right before classes started. I'm coming from California so wanted to figure out the housing situation ASAP.

I am also coming from California and am panicking about a place to live. Thank you for the information!

I’ve noticed that as well. I’ve been meaning to call and ask. I’m going to call tomorrow and ask them a couple questions so I’ll ask them about that as well!

How do you guys plan on paying for the apartment btw its really expensive for a 1bedroom
