WOW!! I'm finally "in"!!!!!!!

I actually have one of the 70 spots in the ADN 2004 program! After 2 years of pre-reqs, co-reqs and lots of nail biting, my wait is over and I am actually going to be a "real" nursing student! I spoke to the nursing department today and its hard to believe I finally made it. Now onto the hard stuff: Nursing classes and clinicals. I'll be taking fundamentals of prof. nursing and essential nursing concepts. WOOHOO! :balloons: :rotfl:

i hear you on the long, long wait. i finally found out tuesday that i made it in to one of the 5 programs i applied to. it took me a total of 8 applications over 2 years to get in.

I also just found out today that I got into the Accelerated BSN program I wanted! I'm on cloud 9, and keep hoping it isn't a dream that I'm going to wake up from~!

Enjoy your time before school starts.... It is a total change from other classes.. But remember it is doable... Also remember that you MUST take some time to do something other than study... Take one day and make it your "I am not studying day"... Even if you just spend all day catching up on housework.. You will burn yourself out if you do nothing but study study study..
