Will you reward yourself....

Hi everyone. I'm currently taking LPN classes and then I will go on to try to get my ADN. My question is this: Do any of you have an incentive for yourself that you will receive when you graduate? (Besides satisfaction in knowing you did it, working in the career field you love, etc..) Like I have decided that whenever I get pinned I'm going to buy a new Monte Carlo or Maxima. Don't know which yet. That helps me to keep going, besides the fact I'll be proud of myself and everything else. Have any of you done something like this to keep yourself focused and determined? Just curious. Would love to hear all responses...:kiss

Besides buying a new car ( I hate my Saturn!), my best friend and I are going to D.C., Phillie, NYC, Maine (rafting, camping, whale watching, lighthouse looking, and FRESH SEAFOOD!!!), and Niagara Falls. We have talked about this for years, and there is no better time than when I graduate. My husband and I plan on expanding our family when I'm done, so if I don't go now, I will prob never! I'm so excited!!!!

:) :) Of course I plan on rewarding myself. I will graduate in December with an ADN in nursing. I will reward myself for graduation and again when passing the NCLEX!!! Last semester I rewarded myself at the jewelry store with diamonds!!! (my husband very much approved. He knows I have worked very hard and deserve rewards.) I'm not exactly sure what will be my reward yet for graduation and NCLEX but I'm sure I'll come up with something. I have a nice car but I do plan on saving $$$ so the next car I get I won't have a big fat payment book to go with it.

I can't wait to hear what others rewards will be.

Vacation!! Don't know where yet, but somewhere warm and sunny, with no kids, no husbands, and lots of girly drinks with umbrellas! Me and a few girls from my class are saving to go somewhere for about a week. Maybe a cruise?

And of course, I'm planning a family vacation to spend a few days with the kids and hubby since they have suffered through school with me! Either Disney World or Six Flags.

i will definitely need a new vehicle. want an explorer, expedition, or durango. want to take the kids on a vacation...perhaps disney will be seeing us in 18 months as well. i want to take an adult vacation...thinking about a cruise. and i need new living room furniture. i will eventually do it all, but i must prioritize, prioritize, prioritize!!! lol :chuckle

To be quite honest, I want to buy something for dh when I graduate. He has always wanted a jeep and he has been so good to me over the years. That is one of the things I hate about being home and not working because I can't ever buy things for my family and surprise them. So I guess I want to buy a jeep for dh and I have a bunch of little things I want to buy for myself.

I'm getting a New Volkswagon Beetle when I graduate! Graduation is NEXT Tuesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait!!! I've always wanted a bug, and now I think I deserve it!

YES!!! my biggest reward will be a full 10 hours of sleep a night for an enitre week!!!! :chuckle

then of course, after NCLEX i intend to buy an automobile that i don't have to wind up before it leaves the driveway. ;)

I plan on rewarding myself by lowering my stress...paying off my credit bills and student loans. Such a terrible feeling to be sinking in financial mud, but there is an end in sight.
