Nursing Students General Students

Hi everyone,

I have a few questions:

What type of work do you do while in the nursing school?

How many hours do you work?

Does work interfere with your school?

To those that do not work:

How are you going to or pay the bills?

I really need your help. I just don't know what type of work I'm going to do when I start school. I'm sure your input will be a great help for me to resolve my problem.

Hi

I am a first semester nursing student in an accelerated program. Ihave 14 credits and I work 40 hours a week. My advice is to do whatever you feel comfortable doing. If you have to work like me and you want to go to school really bad than do it. It's hard work but if you persevere you can do anything.

Good Luck in whatever you decide!

I'm a full time student and work full time (36-40 hours/week). It has been truly a struggle at times to get homework done, prep for clinicals, etc., but thankfully my time management skills have basically perfected themselves this semester. lol

Where there's a will there's a way. I'm sure that whatever you decide, you will do just fine. Good luck.

Marianne
