Tests and grades post?

I am going to stick this one on top and see how well it is used. I thought it might be a good idea to have a place to post our upcomming tests and grades.

I will start I have a lab test on identify tissues, cells, muscle, bone etc. I still haven't got my grade back from the first A&P test. Next Tuesday we have our second nursing exam. I am pulling a A in Health and Nutrition, an A in Nursing and I am not sure about A&P yet but will find out today. I am praying for a C. After the first part of the A&P exam my score was 62 I think. Okay that is my sttory this week. Let me know if you think this is worthy of being stuck at the top.

Have a great day!:)

Got my second lab exam back last night....106%. If I'm not careful, I'll get used to this and think it's automatic. I really have to study to get these good grades! So far in my two classes I have a A+ average. It's important because the accelerated BSN program I want to start next year requires B's in all pre-reqs.

Have a great day, fellow students!! :D

Passed my math test today... half the class didn't and now they have mandatory tutoring and then a retake of a different test.

I also passed blood glucose monitoring today (not a biggy, but still a check off!). Tomorrow we shoot our fellow students IM, SQ and intraderm with saline.... and have a med quiz to boot.

Thank god they didn't schedule an exam on Friday, that would have been too much in one week!

I guess I'll post, although these are nursing classes.

94,88,.................................76:o :sniff: :crying2: Drug calculations exam........90%, so I don't have to take it again.

In our program 75 and below is a fail. Every question is worth 2 points,50 questions from 5 topics in 3 1/2 weeks.

If you "fail", the punishment is that you have to take the entire test over again...............with the final, and score above 75 to pass that section. The real problem with that is that the final is cumulative.

This inspired me to quit my job so I can concentrate full-time on my studies. I also planned a strategy for getting my RN one year early. Going to school full-time does away with the need for an LPN so next semester I'll be back in those wonderful prereques again.

I thought this board WAS for nursing classes? Who else would post if not in Nursing Classes?!

My "math" test was the drug calc and, like your class, we needed 90% to pass. It was 30 questions, so you could only miss 3. If you failed, MANDATORY tuturing and then you get to retake. 30 drug calc questions in 1 hour and no bonehead mistakes is TOUGH. Some people didn't finish it and they had a calculator! The retake is only 10, you have to have 9 right. Somehow, that seems easier. Less chance for a stupid mistake.

At my school you get two chances and if you fail there is a mandatory class (7weeks - 6hrs/week).

I can relate to the "Bonehead" mistakes :)

My first try I failed because of those darn bonehead mistakes. My second try I just tried to be a calm as possible and use all of the available time.. got a 100%.

I aced my Microbiology Midterm!! :) Actually, she dropped 2 questions so I got 150 points out of 146. *I* got extra credit! :)

AND... I got the highest score on the Lab Practical, too! :)

I am SOOOO happy she doesn't grade on a curve.. my classmates would KILL me! LOL
