Anyways-- with that being said....I had a so-so week. I earned a B and C on my a & p lab exams, (my first C in this class) an A in Algebra, and a B in my a & p lecture exam. (my first B in this class)
I know my grades aren't bad, but my a & p instructors both gave me looks like they were disappointed in my performance for these tests.
I'm so glad this semester is almost over!!!
Good luck to each of you.

It's a way to pat ourselves on the back, encourage others, or vent about a bad grade. Let's keep it nice!!
MishlB, don't read the thread if you don't want to hear it!
BTW-- I have two exams this week in A&P. One in lecture on the ANS (tonight), and one in lab on the bones (Wednesday). I'm skipping my Tues. night Psych class to study. Wish me luck!!

Frankly, I am tired of nursing students comparing grades and being so competetive.
Nurses eat thier young.................but the ones that are well versed in nursing school trivia are not quite as appetizing as the "C" students. Those New Grad eaters will steer clear of you if you can compete.

But I guess that is the nature of things in life, and in school. As Peeps said, "Competency requires competition". If anything, I guess it would a motivating factor for others to really try and do well.

I've had such a hard time with this class that I'll be so happy even with a C average. ( I got a 53 on my first and a 75 on my second, Hey maybe that means I'll get a 95 on my next and a 100 on the Final ......wishful thinking....)

from separation from dh (got back together) to all 5 of the kids getting sick one after another (missing several lectures) to not having books for the classes (relying solely on lecture for information) i think i am doing pretty darn well!!!!!!!

I'm amazed at those who achieve high marks in A&P, as I never did, I'm not jealous of those students, that would be childish... I think we are all adults here and can help motivate ea. other.
Students who are struggling and then suddenly get high marks is something to cheer about !
