Hi! I am a senior nursing student am I have to do a sample study plan for next semester for the NCLEX. Does anyone have any advise or samples to share? I have also x-posted this under the NCLEX section. Thanks in advance!

I took an NCLEX review course and we were told that current research suggests doing 3000 practice questions will go far in preparing you for the test. Perhaps divide the number of questions by how many weeks in your semester to get a good estimate of how many questions to answer a week. Maybe divide your studying into Med surg/Pharm for about half of your semester, then maternity, psych, and peds divided equally into the other half of the semester. Do you have access to the Evolve website? There are HESI case studies on there, they are divided into different specialties. Good luck!

Another good idea is posted on the NCLEX forum - going through the Saunders book and taking the tests as you go, then reviewing the chapters if you get less than 75%.
