I have Mosby's (it was required) and I do like it.
Go to a good bookstore and check out what they've got. I've seen one or two books that are geared to nursing--what you are looking for is info about patient teaching and adverse effects, in addition to the indications, contraindications and incompatibilities.
Once you find one you like, go online--you can save serious bucks buying your books online, even if you get them new from Barnes and Noble, shipping is free and sales tax isn't charged (at least, I didn't pay any!) It's a good idea to get the latest publication you can get, btw, and get ready to have to look up some drugs online--it changes all the time!
Good luck and have fun!
Thanks for all the help guys! My Pharmacology teacher recommended one by Lexi-con or something like that but I can't find it anywhere...I am buying my books for next semester on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week so I will look in the book store on campus and see what they have and do a little comparison shopping...On to Semester 2!!
Thanks again! :)
