Just wondering what the interest level is regarding specialties out there...
Labour & Delivery? Oncology? Critical Care? ER? OR?

We had to use this topic to introduce ourselves on our first day of nursing school. Needless to say, I was the only student in my class of 40 that was interested in Forensic Nursing. Everyone in my class kind of shifted in their seats when I told them that I was interested in perhaps becoming a Nurse Coroner. (well, somebody's gotta do it!)
I always thought I would be interested in peds or ob/gyn. I have changed my mind so many times. I plan on experiencing as much as I can. First off is med surg for general experience in everything. then i plan to move where the spirit leads me. I plan at least 10 years of experience in everything and anything. During this time I plan to work towards my Masters. Finally I will finish up my career in mangement or teaching. You never know maybe both.

I want to get a Masters and possibly teach someday, anyway that is my goal at this time.
