HI everyone.
Im in school now working on my pre-reqs for LPN. I am 28. I am starting again after 10 years of being out of school. Its kinda hard. Im so busy- I am working full time, going to school full time, and I have a 9 month old baby. This is something Ive always wanted to do. I happy to hear that I am no the only one out there.
I hope to be talking with some of you. I am pretty sure that I am going to need some asistance somewhere.
Hello and Welcome!
I'm also new to the board, and I just started my prereqs for a BSN program. Having fun with A&P I right now. I'll be having a whole lot more "fun" at my exam next Monday. I work full-time, have class three nights a week, and volunteer in the SICU at a local hospital one day a week. Somewhere in there I'm supposed to study!! ha!
Welcome
I am totally amazed at how similar everyone's situation is to mine.
Last fall decided I wanted to be a nurse, entered college after 20 some years, worked and went to school, then this spring got laid off after 10 years of loyal service, still taking these blasted pre-req's, (will it ever be over?).
All the advice I can offer is take it one day at a time, one class at a time. It will get better (right? )
Don't forget to take care of yourself. Email or pm me if you ever want to talk or vent.
