Hey, guys -

I've been posting on here for a couple of years now, ever since I started applying to nursing school. I just wanted to celebrate the fact that I just finished my preceptorship, took my student nurse uniform off for the last time, and am set to graduate with honors in two weeks! All I have left is my final, a couple of ATI tests, and a bunch of NCLEX prep. I can't believe I've come so far from where I started! This has been the most wild, amazing, stressful, and difficult journey but I'm at the end and ready to move on to the next part (aka.... the actual learning-how-to-become-a-nurse part).

I'm thankful I went to nursing school, but I'd never want to do it again :roflmao:

Yay!! Congrats! All the stress was worth it! I'll be starting my preceptorship in two weeks.

There is light, and it's not an incoming train.

It kind of is. It's worth it, but it's an oncoming train. Starting a nursing job hits you hard because a lot of times you look around and think: "Holy crud! I'm now an RN." The floor is NOT how nursing school was. It was a "culture shock" for me. Big time. It was worth it though.

I am happy to take stress, any stress... as long as it's different from nursing school stress!

Same here - final final tomorrow, pinning on Monday, and then about a month's worth of sleep!

I took my last final on Monday and slept like a BABY that night. Helps that I got a good enough grade on the final to push me over the top and achieve an A in my capstone class :D

I should probably be sleeping now but hey, I have no more school to worry about!!
