    Hi there to all!

My name is Sandra. I am the mother of a 7-year-old daughter, divorced after 13-1/2 years of marriage, unemployed. I am in a 2nd-career phase: 1st year BSN program, still taking prereqs. I love it!

I will be taking survey of chemistry and lab. First time ever taking chemistry. I am really nervous, but I will do just fine, I'm sure!

Isn't this bb just great. Especially for someone like me--lots of questions, very little knowledge (nursing).

    Good luck to all!

    Hey everyone!
On September 3 of this year I'll be starting my first semester of a four semester RN program. I'm a bit nervous (more like terrified), especially after going to my orientation last week and discovering that besides me, there is only one other girl who is of "school age" in my class. I'm 18, turning 19 in November, and most of my class is 30 and over with children. I'm really hoping this won't give me a disadvantage in any way. But I really hope I can make it!

Hey everyone, I'm so glad I found this place. My name is Brandi, I'm 23 and in my first year of nursing classes. I've got two to go for my BSN. I work as a CNA in cardiology right now and I love it.

I'm single and I don't have any kids, but I have a little sister (she's 16, that's still little right?:chuckle ) and a dog that keep me busy.

I tend to lurk around boards, but I'm sure I'll get more comfortable with posting soon. Good luck everyone!

It has been so fun, to read everyone's introductions! I'm new to this board & to nursing. I am a former c.n.a & mom of 3 girls, ages: 8, 5 & 1 yr old.
After hearing the last complaint of my husband telling me that he "can no longer stand watching (Maternity ward and Life in the E.R, on TLC ; and his suggestion of getting a job in nursing instead of watching it," i decided to enroll in my local college. I haven't applied for the nursing program, yet, but i am in the pre-nursing focus group. I start my first class this wed/27. Since i'm a stay at home mom, i plan to take classes slowly. Have my fingers crossed to graduate from the ADN program around 2007-2008!
I'm very happy to have found this board and hope to get to know you all!
