What angle is he taking for his paper? Against or for. Is it concerning personal involvement, emotional involvement, patient for caregiver or caregiver for patient? Maybe look in some medical ethics sites or medical library at your hospital. A large teaching hospital should have some of what he is looking for.
:roll OH MY......had to pick myself up off the floor before I could reply......I'm sorry......we live in a very very small town, and our library at the hospital consist of books we (the staff) have donated after school use.
He has to present both sides of the arguement so........
Do you know of any good web sites he could look at?
PS. we are at the place where they pipe in sunshine.:chuckle

These are just a few I found on google. Some address it specifically, one just outlines what is approprate behavior. I hope this helps some. However, I don't think any of them present a favorable side to it. Good luck
