I am looking for a web site or anything that has a listing of hospitals that are doing the program where they will pay for your schooling if you agree to work for them for a determined amount of time. Does anyone have ANY information on this?? I could use all the help I can get!
Thanks so much!!

No website that I know of, and I can understand why you wouldn't want to post your city here, but I can tell you that in Texas it's a very common thing.
Hospital systems with tuition assistance or tuition reimbursement here in Houston alone, off the top of my head:
- Almost every hospital in the Texas Medical Center
- Memorial Hermann

Try contacting the Texas Board of Nursing or the Texas Hospital Association and asking for information about these programs. Because the hospitals that do this are hurting for nurses, these particular organizations are usually aware when this kind of activity is going on.

Last I knew, Parkland and Presby Dallas both had these programs.
They are both associated with nursing schools (can't remember which ones).
No nursing programs can be solely the hospital's program--gotta be associated with a nursing school.
So I'd get a list of all the nursing schools in your area (probably available from the BNE) and give them a call.
Or check with the BNE, they may be aware of any programs which are based in hospitals.
One thing, there is (surprise!) usually a waiting list for those programs, and they generally only admit their employees. So you might apply to work at the one you want to attend, then apply to the program.
Might be faster to go to an LVN program, then bridge.
