What is the name of the bone involved if a ball hits you on the chin? And what other tissues or organs may be affected by the ball hitting you hard on the chin?
Please help.

Here's just a guess. I had anatomy a long time ago. If you get hit on the chin (mandible bone) and it is hard enough you could break your jaw. Muscles involved in that area are the Depressor labii inferioris (skin and muscle of the lower lip) and Mentalis (skin of the chin) and Depressor anguli oris (skin and muscle at the mouth below the zygomaticus.
Hope this help.

Could possibly affect the teeth and tongue also. A broken jaw would make eating difficult so maybe some GI alterations ie ng tubes which would in turn affect the nasal mucosa.....oh and then the pain factor...anxiety....hope this helps.
