For Mario and those who have suffered in Nursing School

I came back to this board, tonight just to check on friends I made while on the Nursing School waiting list and before I quit nursing school due to head games. Now I see that the worst has happened to Mario. I am so sorry and I know how you feel when your dreams are shattered. Mario and others who have suffered--please, know that things will get better. I have been accepted to graduate school in Education and I have been teaching science since I left Nursing School.

Hang in there, Mario and all nursing school students and those who no longer feel they can achieve the dream of becoming an RN.

Life will go on.

I totally agree with you semstr ^5.

I went back to school in 1990 at the age of 32 with two sons, ages 10 and 5. I graduated in 1992 with an LPN and 1994 with an ADN. Currently I'm back in school for a BSN/MSN. Its tough, but well worth it. I work full time, volunteer as a fireman/pre-hospital RN, go to school and still manage time with my husband and sons. And...now I'm 44. So, it can be done. Determination and a willingness to succeed is what it takes.

There's a big difference in being wronged and just being wrong, as in one person mentioned above. I will not feel bad for someone who didn't want to hack it. That's already been done enough in the past couple weeks. :(
