Congrats sounds like you did really really well.

I am curious, as a student just beginning, what you did that you want to change? You mentioned changing your study habits, how do think you will do that do you have a plan or idea already or was that a general statement.

Catherine trying to learn from y'all who just been through it.

I wish we were graded in each section instead of just the theory part. We have to get a 75% or better in lecture. We get pass or fail for clinical and lab. Sucks because if we were graded for other stuff some people would've made it to NUR102.

Anyway, I'm glad the semester's over. I need to change my study habits for next semester so I won't struggle along. Nursing school's crazy.

I just need to do more practice questions and get more of a jump start on the reading. That was the mistake I made....I also learned about half-way through that our professors give us study guides and that will usually be what the focus of the exam is.

At our school, we have a theory grade that is a normal grade, and everything associated with clinicals is a pass or fail. Our school used to grade you in clinicals, but it created so much controvery over which instructor was being more strict, giving the higher/lower grades...they decided it was more important to make sure that you knew the task and could perform it.

Congratulations! :D I bet you're happy to have the first semester done! :)
