Finally made my Decision RN all the way; Thank you all for all the advice/input!

hello,

i have finally made my decision. anyone that has read almost any of my posts know that i have been stressing out for the last past weeks on what i was going to do. as far as go for the lpn program first or just go straight into the rn program. i have researched this a lot and i am just going to go ahead and go for the rn program . i know that no matter what program that you go into that you are going to have to study hard and just do the best that you can. another thing that really helped me make my decision was that my pell grant would not cover all of the lpn program but would cover everything in the rn program. here the lpn program is $6,000.00 and the rn program is $8,456.00. i thank each and everyone one of you for your input when i asked you which way to go and i thank you all for all your sincere answers. i love this forum and i tell everyone i know about it. everyone keep up the good work and god is going to see us all through, whether we are a lpn, rn, bsn, msn, doctorate, or nursing students taking one day at a time. :) :)

Hey,

I saw your post and thought that I would like to say that I think that you have made the right decision. This is the first time I have been able to visit the board in over a month. School has been kicking my butt lately. We have finals on Monday in Pharmocology and Fundamentals on Thursday. Then we have just gotten through with two weeks of back to back clinicals that required us to do a tone of paperwork. I am tired. But I am looking forward to the 13th. After that I have 3 LONG glorius blessed weeks out for the Christmas Holidays.

Thank you for all your support and encouragement. I have really missed talking to you for the pass month but I know that you have really been concentrating on school. I am ready for this semester to be over also. I am proud of you and you just keep hanging on in there.

Shunda, I know you decision was not an easy one to make at first but it always feel good when you make a decision. I am sure you will do well. This board is so supportive.
