Please don't think I am stupid :) But, what exactly is community clinical? I am assuming that it is not at the hospital or LTC because we are wearing khakis instead of out white uniform.

Lisa,
I know that for us "Community clinical" involves blood pressure screening, etc. for the general public but we have to wear our uniforms for even that.

We had what were called "outside experiences". That meant we went to the kidney center, to the senior center, to Dr's office, to the downtown clinic, to adult day care....places like that. maybe that's what is being talked about.
Oh, that sounds nice. We only have community clinical for about 2 hours a week. That won't be so bad :)

I am assuming you mean home health rotation. I have been in home health 11 years. Real shock when you see how some people live and how you can dress a wound with little supplies when there is no money to buy any.........................most people like the autonomy.....
