Collin Co. Comm. College

Hi all! This is my first post, but I've been lurking for months now. I'm still taking my pre-req's, so I never really had anything to add.

My question is a TOTAL LONG SHOT.

I'm wondering if (by some slim chance) anyone on this board went to school at Collin Co. Community College in Plano, Texas (specifically Spring Creek campus), and took A&P or Algebra there. Those are the classes I'm taking next semester, and I really need a recommendation for which professor to try and get, b/c I'm scared! I'm only on campus nights & weekends, so there's not really anyone else for me to ask.....

Thanks so much, hope someone can help me! :D

Allison

Are you set on going to Collin Co.? The reason I ask is I could recommend a great teacher that is at Dallas County CC.

I'm sorry I can't help you with the CCCCD recommendation, but I'll ask some of my friends that went there.

Good luck to you with your classes.

Believe it or not, your question was not as much of a long shot as you might think. I wanted to take A&P I this semester at CCCCD, but I attempted to register too late--near the first day of classes. Almost all of the sections were closed by that date.

I could not attend any of the remaining open sections due to my work schedule. The schedule for next semester has been released, and so far I cannot attend any of the sections. The only way out is to eventually quit work, something I am not ready for yet.

If you want to make the trek to NCTC in Corinth I can tell you an amazing teacher for A&P. Good Luck...I will ask around for you to see if any one knows.

Hi Allison, I'm also going to CCCC Spring Creek Campus. I was told NOT to take A&P with a prof. Lyman? I think that is how you spell it. What classes are you taking? I'm taking Psychology and Biology. (this one is driving me a little crazy) by the way a girl named Allison has been a great help. Well, good luck.

Well good luck Allison, Quad C is a good school. I know some of their instructors and you are in good hands. I will probably see you when you rotate through ER in plano

dont worry, just study

If you're anywhere near Eastfield, Dr. Knight is the best!

Allison, in case you have not heard, this week there was a Nursing Advising meeting at school, and now Algebra is not required, instead , we have to take Statistics:) ( I know I'm happy, I hate Algebra).
