I'm taking nursing core classes and pre/co-reqs simultaneously. I've been doing that for 3 semesters. In order to graduate in December, I had to squeeze in another course, so 17 credits in the fall - my busiest semester yet. But then it's over..... for the time being.

Nursing courses only. Our program doesn't allow gen. ed. to be taken during the core curriculum, no co-reqs, all are pre-reqs. I used to wish that I could do some of it while in the nursing program (just to get started sooner) but now I'm *so* happy they don't allow it! :chuckle I don't think I could deal with the extra stress!

I already got my AA in Psychology a couple years ago, so must of my classes were done, os over the last 2 semesters, I took A&P I and II, Chem, and Micro. So now all of my other classes are done so I can just focus on nursing.

I'm in a post-bac program, so I don't need to take anything that isn't required for the nursing degree.

I have taken all of my pre- and co-reqs except for physical activity (yes, my junior college requires two PE classes in order to graduate.) I am taking a dance class one evening a week this semester and a karate class next semester. This year my nursing classes only add up to 8 hours a semester (on paper), and without the PE class I would drop below 3/4 time and get less Pell money, so I guess it's a blessing in disguise.
