Brenda,
I read it several years ago.
What exactly are you looking for? If you haven't read the book, I would suggest it to you. It is a wonderful story about the kindness humans REALLY DO have.

Thanks opalm.. I had to do a book report on it and wanted to know what were some of Morrie's philosphies that really made an impression on you. For example.. I related well to Morrie philosphy on Money and Family. he said that as a society we are brainwashed into wanting more, more, more....we subsititute love in our life with posessions... that made me take a step back and think.. also he said "Love each other or perish" I related well to that because it's my family's love, the love i have for my children, and husband that motivateme to live, to get out of bed each day..
It was a fabulous book to read, quite tear jerker!
So thank you for responding!

OMG I love that book! I had to read it last year and let me tell you, I sat in one Saturday night b/c I was sick while everyone else was out partying. Well when they came back they found a puffy-eyed, runny nose girl curled up in a chair bawling. It was such an easy to read, short book but that was one of the best books I've ever read. There is a movie about it too that I have yet to see. Just the other day I was in the University lounge and saw someone reading it and I went on and on how much I enjoyed that book. It's definitely a book I'll read again sometime:)

Although I haven't read the book (yet), I have a copy of the movie with Jack Lemmon and Hank Azaria. Very well done. I loved it.

I enjoyed the book immensely. Also the movie, but as usual, parts was left out. All about human compassion!

I loved that book also.
It is required reading for my nursing fundamentals class. I thought it was a great way to show us future nurses a thing or two about life and death.
