The school I am applying to has an interview process that includes a writing sample... about 15 minutes. Does anyone have any idea what the range of topics might be?

Thanks.

I had to write an admission essay to one nursing school I applied to, but I had to send it with my application and fee. This is one you are going to write during your interview? I would ASSume it would pertain to nursing - probably what your nursing goals are, why you want to be one, etc.

But really, if it is during the interview, they may just want to see how well you can write a clear, comprehensive essay under pressure. I.E. How well you think on your feet.

If they want you to do it there by hand...it is possible they maybe be doing handwriting analysis to...some people are really into that...I have heard of this being used to select people for jobs.

Yes, it is during the interview. The writing sample part comes first, then the face to face. I don't know if it will be on computer or in morificecript.

Another thing that they may have you write about is a current topic in nursing or something along those lines. I have heard of some places doing that just to make sure you are paying attention to up & coming trends or issues that may be going on with nursing/medicine.
