Where do you nurse, hospital/homehealth/hospice/nursing home/ clinic?

Second question what is your speciality?

Me, I work in a clinic where we deal with cancer patients from dr visits to chemo therapy and everyrthing in between and beyond.

I was forced to retire from a city hospital that was sold, now collecting a pension, and working per diem 3d/wk in OR, PACU, and Endoscopy

School Nursing 6th-8th grade.....peds and community health

I did early work in med/surg, but now I'm in long term care and like it a lot... ADON of 120 bed facility--MDS/care plans, etc

Specializes in Step down, ICU, ER, PACU, Amb. Surg.

I work in a small Army Hospital as a civilian RN. As a staff nurse in this facility, I have become a Jill-of-All-Trades, floating where needed but my primary specialty is SICU/PACU. Makes life interesting and has given me experience that I probably would not have gotten anywhere else.

I work in a medium sized hospital on med/surg/orthopedics unit. But my heart is in LTC..I eventually want to work at a Veterans hospital with psych patients.. long story..

I am a case manager for a large insurance company. I am alot happy with this position then I was in acute care. My specialty is really Ped's but for now I'm with the seniors. Goal to work with Ped's as a case manager.;)

I work at a very busy outpatient surgery center in Northern California.

Specializes in M/S, Onc, PCU, ER, ICU, Nsg Sup., Neuro.

Hospital, ER 7A-7P. Am part of ER Leadership Team(charge nurse and more), am responsible for for all staffing in ER,Fast-Track and our CDU, in charge of employee orientation for ER and also staff preceptor. Always a "good time".---Paul

I work in a Residential Care Home for the Elderly. I only started about 6 weeks ago and they are still training me up but in a few weeks I will be trained and will get the Uniform.
